There are many myths regarding when one should begin their fitness journey. One popular myth is that bone growth becomes stunted which is the reason why some people say, “start working out once your bones have fully developed.” When you start training at a young age, the benefits improve cardiorespiratory fitness, build strong bones and muscles, control weight, reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression, and reduce the risk of developing health conditions such as heart disease. This is why it is important to do your research to know all possibilities that may happen from working out at a young age. Staying active even at a young age is important because it shows how you care about your body.
