Unless you’ve been living under a rock your entire life, you know, or have at least heard of Metallica, and if you have. You’d know they are back in a BIG way. This week, the band’s drummer, Lars Ulrich, announced on the Howard Stern show that Metallica’s new album, 72 Seasons, would be out on April 14, 2023. Ulrich also announced that a new song, ‘Lux Aeterna’ has been released by the band and a brand new tour through 2023 and 2024. The tour will play weekend shows around the world with over 20 cities being played, and 40 shows being performed. It will be a double night with no repeat setlists, so there will be two shows per city.
Presales for the tour have already begun, and some of them are very pricey, ranging from
$2,000 to $7,000 for the better packages.
