Living in a small town can get very boring, very fast. Compared to other cities in California, Visalia does not have very much to do. That is why I have come up with a couple different ideas for things high school students can do in or around Visalia.
- Clay Cafe
Clay Cafe is a ceramic arts studio. You can pick different ceramic pieces to paint and decorate with friends or even by yourself if you are looking for a more calming activity. While the small business no longer has a studio to paint at, they do home deliveries for a “paint at home” experience.
- Rocky Hill
Rocky Hill is located in Exeter, Ca. It is about a 20-minute drive from Visalia which is definitely doable. You and your friends can go on a hike, have a picnic, or watch a sunset while soaking in the beautiful scenery. I have personally been there numerous times and it is always a lot of fun.
