Should Mental Health Days for Students be Marked Excused?

In the twentieth century, mental health has become more of a priority than it has in the past. Even sometimes when school, sports, and life gets too full, students will take mental health days to catch up on life and put their mental health first. Should schools start to recognize mental health days as excused? Personally, I believe it should be marked excused, but with a few exceptions. Students should only have a limited amount so that it is less tempting for students to misuse mental health days as something else. I think it is important that schools start to recognize mental health days as excusable because sometimes everyone needs a little breather to get through life.
