Now that we are in the year 2023 we can expect new movies to be coming out over the next couple of months, but also means we can’t forget about some of the best films to release during the previous year. 2022 was a decent year for movies with some being awfully boring and others being maybe the best movie you have ever seen but here are some of the best that stand out.
The Batman was released on March 4th, 2022, and directed by Matt Reeves. This movie was beyond incredible with Robert Pattinson perfecting the role of Batman and how sharp the atmosphere and setting were in this film, along with the music choices as well.
Everything Everywhere All At Once, released on March 11th, 2022, and directed by Daniel Kwan and Daniel Schienert. I still have not personally seen this movie but from what I have heard is that this movie was phenomenal and definitely a highlight of this year.
Top Gun: Maverick, released on May 27th, 2022, and directed by Joseph Kosinski. Of course, this movie had to be on the list, it was the highest-grossing movie of the year (and also it has Miles Teller in it) and was very highly rated overall.
Nope, released on July 22, 2022, and directed by Jordan Peele. This movie had very mixed reviews but Peele never fails to impress me just like with the other two movies he has made which are “Get Out, and Us” and just this movie feels unique and interesting and definitely makes Peele a very good director for just directing only three films.
Those movies are only a handful of the amazing movies that were released in 2022, it was not a bad year for films at all but I am really excited to see what movies 2023 will bring and if they will outshine the movies released in 2022.
