Jimi Hendrix is a famous Guitarist from the 1960s who was also very influential during his time. His full name is actually James Marshall Hendrix and he was born November 27, 1942, in Seattle, WA, but sadly ended up dying September 18, 1970, at the St Mary Abbots Hospital due to an overdose. Hendrix was a guitarist/musician that made amazing music and some argue that he was the creator of the way the modern electric guitar sounds. Hendrix used the Vox wah-wah pedals. One interesting fact about Hendrix was that he played the electric guitar upside down with the high E string on the top and the lower E string on the bottom. Jimi Hendrix was a very amazing artist and I would recommend them to anyone, he made history and is loved by many.
