Rocky is an action/drama film that made its debut in 1976. This film is part of a series that is hugely popular here in the U.S. This film is part of an 8-film series (soon to be 9). Rocky features Sylvester Stalone as the star of the film. Sylvester Stalone is widely known for his role as Rambo in the Rambo films. Sylvester Stalone not only plays Rocky in this film but also directed the film. Rocky is full of amazing characters with funny lines and an exemplary plot line that will leave you on the edge of your seat. Of course, there are also brutal boxing matches in every movie which we’ve all come to know and love. The film follows the story of Rocky Balboa, a young guy living in Philadelphia who’s trying to make a name for himself. If you have not yet checked out this film, I highly recommend you do so as it is a great one.
