Ingredients:
▢ 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
▢ 1/2 cup peanut butter
▢ 1/4 cup unsalted butter
▢ 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
▢ 1 1/2 – 2 cups powdered sugar
▢ 6 cups rice Chex cereal
▢ 1 cup red, white, and pink chocolate-covered candies
▢ 1.2 ounces (about 1 1/2 cups) of freeze-dried strawberries
Instructions:
-Add the peanut butter, chocolate chips, and butter to a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30 seconds increments and stir in between until the chocolate is fully melted. Add the vanilla extract and stir.
-To a large mixing bowl add the rice Chex cereal. Pour the chocolate peanut butter mixture over the cereal and stir thoroughly (but gently) until each piece of cereal is coated. Pour the chocolate-coated cereal into a gallon-sized Ziploc bag.
-Add the powdered sugar to the Ziploc bag, seal, and shake gently until the cereal is coated in powdered sugar. Spread puppy chow on parchment paper and allow to cool until the chocolate is set.
Sprinkle chocolate-coated candies and freeze-dried strawberries over puppy chow and enjoy!
