A frequent conundrum is a word I find so interesting
Frequent meaning often
And a conundrum being a difficulty
The lines get blurred and it becomes hard to see
What my potential was and who I’m really meant to be
I write on the walls don’t stay as my image fades away
Sinking into my bed as the days go gray
I’ve noticed the color has faded
To everything, I may add
Not that I can’t see color
Just… the color has gone bad
This frequent conundrum has gotten worse
Happening more often than frequent
But also worse than a conundrum
Lying to bend the truth
To make you believe a part of me is whole
While all along I wanna be alone
In my head as a lonely recluse
