It’s been almost a week since Season 2 of Modern Warfare 2 was released and I have had a good while to play it. My expectations were already incredibly low for this season because Activision is known for always producing terrible content and always ignoring the needs of their community despite being a multi-billion dollar industry. With this season, they just barely exceeded my expectations, because they actually did what a good company does, listened to their consumers, and made good changes/additions to the game. While not every want and need was met, overall the changes were somewhat decent and brought some people back to the game. Season 2 introduced Ranked Play, which for once isn’t a hot pile of garbage and fan-favorite game mode Resurgence for warzone. Overall I would rate the experience a 6/10.
