This past Wednesday was Ash Wednesday and the lent season has begun for Catholics. If you are still trying to figure out what to give up for lent or what to implement into your daily routine here are a few ideas:

Things to give up:

  1. Chocolate
  2. Soda
  3. Listening to music
  4. Complaining
  5. Certain apps on your phone
  6. Social media
  7. Energy Drinks
  8. Gossip
  9. Swearing
  10. Coffee
  11. Snacking
  12. Fast Food
  13. Negativity
  14. Online answer
  15. Electronics
  16. Pizza
  17. Sugar
  18. Shopping

Things to implement into your life:

  1. Pray on the way to school
  2. Save 5 minutes before bed for prayer
  3. Go to confession
  4. Pray for a specific relative everyone
  5. Spend a few minutes with Scripture every day
  6. Start the Bible in Year podcast with Fr. Mike Schmitz
  7. Join a Bible study group
  8. Spend time volunteering around the community
  9. Donate to charities
