TS Album Review: Reputation

Taylor Swift’s 2017 comeback is nothing short of iconic and you can’t tell me otherwise. If you were hiding under a rock in the mid-2010s, let me catch you up; Kanye West and Kim K hurled several false accusations Tay’s way and the internet bullied her. There was lots of hate and snake emojis. Taylor disappeared for about a year then dropped reputation and went on a super awesome stadium tour. The rep era was full of snakes, dark lipstick, and black glitter. I’d be lying if I said there weren’t reputation songs on my weekly listening rotation. Per usual, songs will be listed from my least to most favorite (these songs were hard to rank).

15. Dress – Throwback to the 2016 Met Gala.

14. So It Goes… – Criminally underrated.

13. New Year’s Day – It’s giving “Lover” in the best way possible.

12. Call It What You Want – Stop, this song is adorable.

11. Endgame – Men that say they don’t like TS like this song.

10. King Of My Heart

9. …Ready For It? – Dude I need to hear this live.

8. Don’t Blame Me – Taylor performing this song on the rep tour is ethereal.

7. Dancing With Our Hands Tied – I think that this is one of the rawest TS songs.

6. Look What You Made Me Do – THE comeback song of the rep era.

5. Getaway Car – The rerecording of this will send me.

4. This Is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things – The Great Gatsby (Taylor’s Version).

3. Delicate – I can’t wait to scream “1, 2, 3, LGB” in a stadium.

2. I Did Something Bad – Taylor opening her shows with this song was iconic.

1. Gorgeous – It’s giving enemies to lovers.
