I recently saw the new movie Jesus Revolution – it was amazing. I really loved this movie, and highly recommend watching it, even if you aren’t a Christian. This story is based on a real movement that took place in the 1970s. It follows several characters, but mostly follows Greg Laurie as he comes to find his faith. I really appreciated how honest this film was. Some Christian films will portray once you come to become a believer, that life is perfect, but that’s not true. This is demonstrated as we follow Lonnie Frisbee. Frisbee’s story doesn’t have a happy ending. Frisbee leaves through the middle of the film because he needs to work on his marriage with Connie, and he has things he needs to work out.
This film is one of my favorite faith-based films and once again, I highly recommend that anyone and everyone watches it!
