A Poem About Rejection

Rejection, the word that stings,

The pain it brings, the hurt it brings.

But with each “no,” a door shuts tight,

A new path opens in the light.

For every “yes,” there are many “no’s,”

A process we must all undergo.

Though it may seem like a deep end,

It’s a chance for growth and to ascend.

Rejection teaches us to strive,

To push ourselves and truly thrive.

To learn from mistakes and grow,

And in the process, let our talents show.

It builds resilience and grit,

A mindset that’s hard to quiet.

It’s an opportunity to improve,

To find new ways to move and groove.

So embrace the word that’s hard to hear,

The one that fills us with fear.

For in each rejection, there’s a gain,

A chance to rise and break the chain.
