The Social Network Movie Review

“The Social Network ” is a movie that was released in 2010 that is a Biopic about the life of Mark Zuckerberg and the creation of Facebook. This movie stars some amazing actors like Jesse Eisenberg playing Mr. Zuckerberg, Andrew Garfield as Eduardo, and randomly Justin Timberlake playing Sean Parker. This movie was very good and I have always wanted to see it because of the clips of it on TikTok so I was super grateful to have watched it in my film class. This movie follows the path of Mark Zuckerberg from being a college student at Harvard making random websites to creating one of the biggest social media websites in the world “Facebook” which sparked the creation of other apps like Instagram and Twitter. I like this movie because even though it is based on a biopic it feels like an actual original concept movie that someone made up and made into a film, the whole plot-line of Eduardo and the twins suing Zuckerberg and how the movie flashes back and forth between those two points is amazing. There is an iconic scene in the movie where Eduardo smashes Zuckerberg’s laptop which gained some popularity on TikTok and YouTube and it is just funny that these two actors Andrew Garfield and Jesse Eisenberg (who both are amazing actors) are coming together to make this movie work and scenes like that actually feel so well directed.

The Social Network is an amazing movie and even though it’s a biopic about Mark Zuckerberg which people may not be interested in, I still recommend people watch this movie because it is way more than your average biopic movie. I gave this movie 4/4 stars and I really enjoyed watching it.
