It’s USC’s third straight season of making it to the NCAA men’s basketball tournament and being able to punch its ticket as the No. 10 seed. USC’s record is 22-10 through their season which was back and forth of wins and losses. The Trojans will face off against Michigan State on Friday, March 17th for the 1st round of playoffs in Colombus, Ohio. It’s USC’s fifth tournament invite in 10 seasons of USC for Andy Enfield being known as the most prolific coach at the school for tournaments. In the past, around two years ago, USC won three games during a March madness but fell short against Elite Eight Gonzaga. Last March they were No. 7 but another upset against Miami. So this year USC is very determined and wants to beat Michigan State. Michigan State is No.7 in the eastern region with a record of 19-12 entering the tournament after the sweep exit in the Big Ten Conference tournament which was an uneven season. Spartans haven’t won three in a row since early January and have only won three over NCAA tournament teams in that span. So they are also wanting to pass the first-round playoff to prove others wrong. Many spectators say that Michigan State is a 2-point favorite in the contest, making USC an underdog for 2-points. Many people predict that the Michigan State Spartans will bring out a win. Who do you think will win, the Spartans or the Trojans?
