Your lower body is very important when it comes to baseball. Whether you’re pitching or hitting, the lower body is being used to generate power. So when it comes to lifting as a baseball player, it is important to strive for explosiveness and do exercises that will help you achieve your goals in baseball. With that said, I have found a lower body workout that I have started using and I believe that it has helped improve my game.
Lower Body Workout:
- Lateral broad jump 3×3
- Shuffle med ball throw 3×3
- Heavy squat 3×5 (superset A)
- Hurdle hops 3×3 (superset A)
- RDL 3×8
- Lateral Lunge 3×8 on each side
- Cable oblique rotations 3×8
- plank/side plank 3×1:00/ :30 each side
