World War I and World War II were the most terrible wars in human history. This war claimed the lives of tens of millions of soldiers and civilians. Without a world war that had such extensive damage, how would the present history have changed?

During World War I, due to the German attack on Lusitania, the Zimmerman note, and the U.S. financial reasons, the United States entered World War I, despite their initial desire to stay neutral during World War I. American military force and weapons turned the tide of World War I, which led to victory and financial benefits. However, if the World War had never happened, the United States, the biggest beneficiary, would have taken longer to develop its national power than it does now. The World War is a significant factor in why the current military force of the United States has become the world’s top. Therefore, the U.S. military would be weak compared to today.

Without World War II, it would be difficult to imagine the technology we have today. Many science and technology, such as computers, were developed during the war. During World War II, the development of computers was devised as a decoder to break codes, and later they were equipped with today’s computer features. Computers now play an essential role in the transition to a new period of civilization by enabling people to perform tasks that are difficult or impossible. Without World War II, we wouldn’t have the cell phones we use today or the laptops we use at school. Or development would be put off, and future generations would be able to use it. Also, without computers, our lifestyle would have been analog. For example, in class, we would learn from books and papers and won’t be able to talk or text on cell phones.
