Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory

Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory is a musical/fantasy film that made its debut in 1971. This film cost about 3 million dollars to make and ended up only grossing about 4 million dollars at the box office so this movie wasn’t a huge hit at the time of its release. It wouldn’t be until later in the future that this film would gain success. This movie follows the story of Willy Wonka and his chocolate factory that mysteriously closed down after Arthur Slugworth tried to steal Wonka’s recipes. Though the factory remains closed, it keeps producing candy. Nobody knows how Wonka is able to run such a huge factory by himself and it has led to many people thinking that there is something mysterious going on. If you have not yet checked out this film, I highly recommend you do so.
