A bill has been considered by the California State Assembly that would ban the sale of Skittles, Hot Tamales, and Doubble bubble twist gum that sponsors potentially dangerous and toxic chemicals. They are stopping the manufacture, the sale of foods that contain Red Dye No.3, Titanium Dioxide, Potassium Bromate, and more ingredients. These certain chemicals have been linked to health problems in the past and are now being more linked to the increased risk of cancer, and damage to the immune system and behavior in children. Since many parents and young adults don’t recognize these ingredients as dangerous they will provide many advertisements to not buy and eat these candies. The chemicals will be reviewed by the FDA or re-evaluated in decades.
