Today China Peak is closed due to a broken generator but at the moment they are trying to install a new one so visitors can return to skiing and snowboarding on Saturday. As of now the conditions of highway 168 look like they are in great condition to drive in so that is a positive of China Peak opening on Saturday. Last Sunday they were having Generator problems including the generator falling over and the highway having landslides on the side of it. The snow looks absolutely amazing right now so a ski day would be great. So, at this point, it looks like the chances are very high for an opening tomorrow morning so let’s hope the generators can get installed.
