My Internship Acception

Have you ever heard of the HEAL Project? You may have seen it a few times around campus, maybe located in the P.I.C.K room? You should come check it out! But before you do let me explain what it is.

The HEAL project is a friendly organization designed to help younger teens, such as ourselves, have a place to feel welcome to open up about things that we may not always share, give feelings and thoughts on the discussion of that day’s topic, and so much more! These meetings are held in the P.I.C.K room over by the library during lunch every Tuesday, by the way. They are also partnered up with the CHC (California Health Collaborative) as a substance abuse program for the younger generation. So maybe if you yourself or you know someone that wants to look into that you can send them our way! These meetings will be run by my mentor, Freddie, and me, and typically if you haven’t grabbed lunch there are usually food and snacks provided. Social media wise they have an Instagram account you can follow to find out more info, see any upcoming events, and ask any questions you may have.
