Tuesday’s game was a long one that lasted 10 innings. We were down 3-0 until we finally tied it in the top of the 7th inning. Dominic Allen then batted in the go-ahead run in the 9th inning to put us on top. Then, Trevor Hampel was able to extend our lead by 2 runs with a double in the top of the 10th inning. Trevor also pitched 4 innings with 5 strikeouts. Moving on to Thursday’s game, we started off strong by scoring a run in the first inning for an early lead. Mt Whitney then tied it in the 3rd inning which was then followed by us scoring again in the 4th. We maintained the lead until Whitney tied it again in the top of the 7th inning. We failed to score a run in the 7th so we went into extras once again. With a runner on third and Elijah Martinez at the plate, Elijah hit a single to right field which scored the winning run.
