College Decisions

On Monday, May 1st college decisions are due. Most UCs and CSUs have an intent deposit that must be put down by or before May 1st. Some also require a housing agreement form to be signed as well. If you do not pay your intent deposit by the deadline, you will not be a student at your chosen university so it is very important for everyone to do so. If you forget about the deadline, most colleges will not give you an extension period. There is still about a week and a half before this is due, so there is still some time to make your decisions. If you are still deciding on where you want to go and are unable to visit the campus, I suggest going online and finding a virtual tour. These have been helpful for me because I have been able to see what the campus looks like, the dorms, and communal bathrooms (if they have them). These are things that can definitely contribute to your decision and have contributed to mine. If there are any questions on where to find a virtual tour for your school (or any questions at all), you can email me at madis.ga2099@vusd.us, and I will do my best to help you. If I am unable to help, we will find someone that can! I wish everyone the best of luck while making these final and very important decisions.
