I’m standing at the crossroads,
a threshold between two worlds,
eighteen years of life behind me,
an unknown future ahead.
I’m on the cusp of something new,
a new chapter in my story,
a time of freedom and of choice,
of adulthood and of glory.
I’m ready to spread my wings,
to take on the world with grace,
to find my place in this big world,
to embrace this new-found space.
I’ll stumble and I’ll fall,
I’ll make mistakes along the way,
but I’ll learn from each experience,
and grow wiser every day.
So here’s to turning eighteen,
to a bright and shining future,
to all the adventures waiting,
and to the person I’ll become.
