This week I wanted to take a break from my usual book review and try something different. Movies and films make up a large part of media entertainment. There are constantly new movies coming out to theaters. Here are some of my most anticipated movies of the summer.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 – May 5, 2023
Following the previous Guardians movie along with Avengers Endgame. “Still reeling from the loss of Gamora, Peter Quill must rally his team to defend the universe and protect one of their own. If the mission is not completely successful, it could possibly lead to the end of the Guardians as we know them.”
As a huge fan of the first two movies, I can not wait to see this movie in theaters.
Barbie – Jul 21, 2023
After being expelled from Barbieland for being a less-than-perfect-looking doll, Barbie sets off for the human world to find true happiness.
I think it’s safe to say that The Barbie movie is one of the most anticipated movies of the summer. With a stacked cast including Margo Robbie and Ryan Gossling as Barbie and Ken. This movie is gonna be the talk of the summer.
Spider-man: Across the Spider-Verse – June 2, 2023
After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence. However, when the heroes clash on how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders. He must soon redefine what it means to be a hero so he can save the people he loves most.
I was a big fan of the first film. The music and animation were incredible so I am eager to see how the new movie will incorporate not only the first movie but the music and diverse story.
