Visalia detectives are currently investigating the second homicide reported this month. Around 10:30 last night, Sunday, April 23rd, officers were called to the reports of a shooting in the 1200 block of North Park St. near Visalia Cemetery. When officers arrived they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to Kaweah Health and later there he died. Violent Crimes detectives took over this investigation and looked for clues all night. There have been four homicides reported in Visalia this year. I find this very crazy how there have been so many homicides around the whole United States in such a small amount of time.
