Did you know that carrots used to be purple back in the 17th century? Purple happens to be my favorite color and there are actually a lot of interesting facts about purple:
- Purple has its own holiday! It’s on March 26th
- Some people are actually afraid of the color purple, it’s called porphyrophobia
- There’s only one nation that has the color purple in its flag: Dominica
- Purple is considered to be the rarest color seen on a car
- There’s a frog species found in India that’s purple
- The most difficult color for the eye to distinguish is purple
