Should You Eat Right Before Going to Bed For the Night?

I know I am not alone when I say that I get hungry for a second dinner, or the meal before sleep. But after doing some research I have found that if you do not eat for three hours before bed, your body falls asleep much easier and will feel well-rested the next morning. Bedtime meals can also affect digestion as your body uses all of its energy digesting the food which is the reason why you feel tired when you wake up. The only reason you should eat before bed is if your goal is to gain weight. Eating a lot before bed can lead to weight gain which is what some people aim for, but not most.
