The halls we’ve roamed for years on end
Will soon be a distant friend
The classrooms we’ve adorned with art
Will soon be empty, bare of heart
The teachers we’ve grown to know so well
Will soon be but a fading spell
Their guidance and their words of wisdom
Will soon be left behind in the system
The friends we’ve made along the way
Will soon be scattered, gone astray
But memories we’ll always keep
Of laughter, joy, and tears we weep
The caps and gowns we don with pride
Mark the end of a long, bumpy ride
As we step into the world anew
The future beckons, bright and true
High school may now be in the past
But the memories of it will forever last
As we move onto life’s next phase
We’ll always cherish these high school days
