The Dark Knight is an American superhero/crime film that made its debut in 2008. It is part of a 3 film trilogy that is called the Batman trilogy. The trilogy consists of Batman Begins (2005), The Dark Knight (2008), and The Dark Knight Rises (2012). The film cost about 185 million dollars to make and ended up making about 1 billion dollars. This film, to no one’s surprise, was very successful because of the fact that it is a Batman movie. This film features stars Christian Bale as Batman and Heath Ledger as the Joker. This film is widely regarded as the best Batman film to date. This film’s plotline follows the story of the Joker and the Batman as they fight each other and try to figure out whether or not they’re really codependent on each other or not.
