El Diamante High School offers various sports and clubs that students can be involved in. In total there are 44 clubs, and 15 sports that are offered to students. With the many clubs and sports El Diamante has for students, there’s at least one club or sport that suits each student’s interests.

El Diamante’s fall sports include Cross Country, Football, Girls Golf, Girls Tennis, Volleyball, and Water Polo. Last winter season our varsity football team defeated the Golden West Trailblazers in an intense Battle for the Saddle game. El Diamante can proudly say the saddle is back home! Also during last year’s season, our boys varsity Water Polo wiped the whole EYL, as they went undefeated.
For winter sports, El Diamante offers Basketball, Wrestling, and Soccer. The Girls Varsity Basketball team had a very successful 2022-2023 season as they became the winningest girls basketball team in school history. Our Boys Varsity Soccer team made it to the second round of playoffs last year, but unfortunately fell short to Ridgeview High School.
Spring sports include Baseball, Softball, Boys Golf, Boys Tennis, Track, and Swim and Dive. Unfortunately, our varsity Baseball team fell short to Redwood High School in the second round of the playoffs, ending their 2022-2023 season early.
In addition to the many sports on campus El D there are also many clubs. Here’s a few clubs that are popular among students: California Scholarship Federation (CSF) Green Club, Spanish Club, Key Club, and Miner Nation Spirit, But if large clubs are not your thing there a many niche clubs on campus for a variety of interests, such as: Crochet Club, Chess Club, Black Box Club, and even ASL (American Sign Language)
Whether its celebrating Hispanic heritage and culture in Spanish Club, recycling for Green Club, or making our community a better place through Key Club, there is something for everyone.
So go check some of them out. You might be surprised at all we have to offer.
