Last week, El Diamante Boys Water Polo played a match against Tulare Western and the final score was 11-8. Even though the boys lost it was a very thrilling match throughout the whole game. The game was very close until the end of the fourth quarter when the Mustangs broke away and won. Although it was a tough playoff the El Diamante Miners had a successful season winning many games with a young team with a very bright future. With a lot of incoming seniors and juniors, the boys have a great chance of winning the league in next year’s season.
El Diamante Senior Zach Moreno states, “It was a good run and a great season”.
The four seniors Zach Moreno, Jordan Sanchez, Holden Benevento, and Mateo La Serna had very successful seasons.
As senior Jordan Sanchez said, “I’m going to miss it but I’m glad we went out on an amazing game.”
The boys had a great season and are looking to have an even better season next year. Go, miners!
