The El Diamante Lady Miners had an overall win percentage of 41%. Their 2023 season definitely had some ups and downs, but it definitely was a season to remember and was full of memories.

This season’s #12 senior Caption McKenna Steele finished the season with a total of 380 assists and was voted MVP of the year. Being announced MVP two years in a row is a big deal. It is very difficult and not a lot of people are able to achieve it. McKenna Steele is #5 in the East Yosemite league, and overall #45 in the Central Section. She is such a great team player and she definitely made a mark in the volleyball program. Coach Clyburne is very proud of what she has brought to the team these past three years and she is going to be extremely missed. He is excited to see what comes next for her after this volleyball season.
