Who doesn’t love the giving of presents for the holidays. Picking out the perfect presents for friends and loved ones is so fun and rewarding for those who achieve the perfect wrapping. As stunning as the gift under the wrapping paper is, make sure to impress the recipient with your skillful gift-wrapping above presents. Now that it’s that time of the year for giving, You’ll be a gift- wrapping expert when you follow these simple steps. Practice always makes perfect as they say so don’t get discouraged if the first few tries aren’t what you had expected. After a few attempts you’ll be a real ace wrapper from smaller gifts to larger presents before you know it. The essentials that will be needed for the process are Wrapping paper, sharp scissors, ribbon or bow, and tape. Steps to follow are very simple and by the time you know it you’ll be gifting baby shower, wedding, and birthday gifts.
Step 1: Place the box face down on top of your gift wrap, leaving the paper attached to roll. Use scissors to cut paper along one side
Step 2: Fold over the paper up and over at the end of the box on each side. Use double side tape to hold it down and place down on edges.
Step 3: Fold both sides and push the paper inward to crease along the flaps to close. Put tape on each sides to keep it from unwrapping.
Step 4: Add ribbon and double knot to tie down. Use fingers to shape loops and cut any excess ribbon 45- degree angle to create forked ends.
