At the end of last semester the Strong Academy had the opportunity to visit colleges connected to the medical field. Every student had the chance to explore colleges to learn more about what they have to offer. Allowing students to visit these colleges gave them a deeper look into the school to attend in the future.
Sophomores visited UC Berkeley and UC Davis. Juniors visited Long Beach State while seniors visited UC Santa Barbara and Cal Poly. Students were allowed a tour of the campus and were given a chance after the tour to explore around on their own.
When students were asked how they liked the campus sophomore Gio Garcia said, “I really liked UC Davis and I’m happy the Strong Academy allowed me to visit.”
Junior strong member Sidnee Nunes says, “I liked that Long Beach State had different spots for students to socialize and the wide variety of clubs the school offers.”
Students enjoyed being able to visit potential universities and see what they had to offer them, specifically in their field of Sports Medicine. Most students agreed that it was a great way to end the semester.
