The Super Bowl is right around the corner and it is time to make predictions of who will be in the running for the big game. The Super Bowl will occur on February 11th, 2024, and will be held at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. There are many different thoughts on who is the best team so far in the NFL and who will make it to the Super Bowl game.
Senior Isabelle Alvarez says “I think that the Eagles and the Ravens will make it to the Super Bowl.” She watches football every Sunday with her family and enjoys it.
Mason Ortega is a senior and a football player at El Diamante and when asked who his favorite NFL team was he said “The 49ers all the way“. He strongly believes his team will make it to the super bowl game and succeed.
He exclaims “They have the best-looking defense and offense.” Ortega follows football a lot and understands the game very well because he played the sport for four years.
Joseph Pena a junior on the El Diamante football team exclaims, “The Dolphins are going to win the Super Bowl because they have a good team overall.“ Pena’s favorite player is Tyrek Hill because “he is fast and very talented at football”.
Mr. Perez is a teacher at El Diamante and he believes that “the Eagles and Chiefs will make it to the Super Bowl” Perez is determined that these teams will end up in the big game and is excited to watch the game. When asked who his favorite team was in the NFL he said “The Rams for sure.”
Many other students around campus gave their insight and predictions of the NFL big game. Senior Mckenna Steele exclaims, “I think the 49ers and the Dolphins will because they are both well-rounded teams that are consistent.
Out of 10 students, 7 of them said the 49ers would make it all the way. When asked about it they were pretty excited and the majority of them said they were going to watch the game with family and friends or go to a Super Bowl party. Overall many people believe either the Eagles or 49ers will win the Super Bowl, so it will be interesting to see if that happens.
