On October 22, there was an away game at Redwood for the girls’ volleyball team. The last time we played them, we sadly lost. However, this time we fought even harder for a comeback. The JV team had won in two sets: 25-13 and 25-18. This time we were prepared for what was to come. Our team had a great defense as many of us had hustled for the ball. We received serves thoroughly as we knew how each one had served from our last competitive game. Our adrenaline was rushing as we received many points and played aggressively. We were not going to stop. Our team had ended the last away game strongly, against Redwood. Our last home game today (Oct. 24th) is against Golden West. Come and support your Lady Miners!
