The El Diamante girls tennis team played in the WYL tournaments this last Tuesday. The girls played against Redwood High School, Mt.Whitney, Golden West, Lemoore, and Hanford. Playing for El Diamante, the top doubles were played by Remi Perez & Leah Leal as well as Alekhya Rajasekaran & Sunny Lillefasse. The two teams played the schools until the top two doubles would get to play each other. Proudly, in the end, the two teams were our very own El Diamante Miners. After an exciting match, the match was won by Remi and Leah making them the WYL champions.
