Monday was our country’s national holiday, “Veterans Day.” Veterans Day is about honoring those who devoted time or are still devoting service to our country’s military branches. This is a holiday that brings families together as they recognize what this group of wonderful, brave people has done for this country. Even though veterans are only recognized once a year, remember to take the time to talk and socialize with these amazing people. As the week rolls by and you forgot to call a family member or friend who is a veteran, please still do so because these people deserve a major amount of respect and recognition. Other than these things, I would like to personally thank these courageous people for doing what they did while they were or are still in the military.
