The temperatures have finally dropped below eighty degrees. It’s a relief to no longer be freezing at 7 am and sweating before 9 am. The drop in temperature has also left some Californians reeling. Most beach bodies aren’t used to having to dress warm and in layers. It is, at the same time, common and uncommon to see someone still wearing shorts in colder weather. The constant barrage of “I’m not even cold”, is mildly amusing to those of us who are dressed in our fuzzy socks and warm jackets. The school ban on beanies and headwear may result in a few jack-frost bitten ears, but the student body will prevail. Hiding a hand warmer or two in pockets may also be a good idea for people who claim they’re “not even cold”. Dress warm, dress comfortably, and enjoy the weather Miners!
