On Saturday, our Varsity Water Polo team won the title of Valley Champions. The crowd turnout was great, our concession sales have more than doubled, and on top of it all, we secured a great win. There were not even enough bleachers for how many people attended. The overall game score was 9 to 4. We won by a huge lead of 5 extra points. Our boys were so excited as the final buzzer sounded and they realized what they did for their school. They brought home a title that not many schools can say they did. Are players this year have played with great energy, bravery, and mental toughness all throughout this amazing season. Great job Boys! It is also worth mentioning that this team also has the highest GPA in our district! They are going up against El Capitan High in Merced this evening to start off State finals. Go Miners!
