On Wednesday, November 20 the El D wrestling team faced Tulare Western. Going into the duel, El D had put many JV kids in for varsity. To start, El D was down 0-18 by two forfeits and a pin. To try and bring momentum to the team, El D got a pin in the second round to make the score 6-18. After this, El D went on a streak of winning, but it was unfortunately broken by Tulare Western. El D ended off the duel with two more pins by Brett Costa and Nathaniel Ibrahim. This wasn’t enough though and unfortunately ended up losing 40-42 to Tulare Western. The next duel is on December 4th.
