A whole school district in Colorado is shutting down due to a contagious virus that is thought to be spreading across the schools. Mesa County Valley School, which is the 14th-largest school district in Colorado, announced this on Wednesday on their website. They will be closed all the way up till the end of Thanksgiving. The Mesa County Public Health thinks Norovirus is the cause. Norovirus is a contagious virus that causes vomiting and diarrhea that develops 12-48 hours after exposure. They plan on having schools open after the holiday.
