On November 23rd, the Marching Miners went to Championships and made it to Finals, which was the next day. The Sunday right before Thanksgiving break, the Marching Miners performed their show at Buchanan High School. From all over the state, there were many schools that were in the same division as us, and even higher that had made it. Our school was one of the first bands that performed, so we were able to change right away, eat, and rest. After that, we got back into our uniforms and went to the stadium to watch the other groups. During the last performance, our band and the others went outside of the stadium to get in line for awards. This time all of the band members were going out to the field for awards, which was different and exciting. The El Diamante Marching Miners received 15th place out of the state! This was a great way to end the season. Great job Miners!
