All families have their own kinds of traditions for Christmas. Some familiar traditions are looking at Christmas lights, secret Santa gift exchange, picking out a Christmas tree, making gingerbread houses, counting down with an advent calendar and much more. Christmas also allows your family to come all together for a gathering on Christmas Eve and Day. It’s also a celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. Christmas dinner is similar to a Thanksgiving dinner, having things like turkey with stuffing, gravy, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, pumpkin pie, Christmas cookies, and much more. After everyone has finished eating then the family comes together and exchange gifts with each other. When everyone has exchanged their gifts some may have a game to play with their family or relax and talk to one another. Such a fun time of year!
