Last Tuesday, El Diamante’s Spring Fling Committee met with our 3 other supporting high schools to discuss our theme for the Spring Fling dance coming up in the next couple of months. The dance will be held here at El Diamante, therefore, we had to hold the meeting here. Four to six representatives from each school were chosen to represent and express their school’s ideas. After two hours of wonderful ideas and great creativity, we all came together and chose a great theme. The theme for this year’s Spring Fling will be Luau and Hawaii related. We as a group had many different plans and ideas for the dance but as our school does things we would like to hear from our students and listen to what they want and what they would like to see at this dance. We need ideas for centerpieces, food, decor, the DJ booth, dance names, wardrobe, etc. If you have any ideas regarding these topics please give Mrs. McBride in room 601 a visit to discuss them. Other than that we look forward to seeing your ideas and creativity. Go, Miners!
