On February 5, 2020, Joseph Bullock was shot and killed by a stranded motorcyclist on the side of the road when he went to assist him. The incident happened in Palm City, Florida around 10:00 AM. The name of the shooter has not been released or the reason he shot at the trooper. The shooter was killed by a passing police officer on the highway. This is all that has been released by the police as it is an ongoing investigation.
