The article “Conquer Fear Of Public Speaking Through Emotional Intelligence,” goes on to say that the majority of the population has a fear of public speaking and that while this is normal, many jobs require public speaking and tells people tips that they can use to improve to be better speakers and in the future be less nervous. His first tip of that deals with the fear itself. First for once you realize it’s not rational to have a fear of speaking that you are not alone in this fear that it becomes much easier to speak because you know everyone else would be just as nervous. He then goes into the topic of being positive and that if you can be positive then you’ll feel calmer and you’ll most likely do much better since you already have that sense of belief in yourself. He tells the reader that using the body more will help as the motions will calm you and set you into a flow of the words and help you. He finalizes that in order to get better at public speaking you have to practice it and practice, and the only way you do that is by doing it more and more often; as often as you can.
