Judy Sheindlin, the host and star of her own reality court show “Judge Judy,” recently announced that after the 25th season of her show, it will be canceled. According to USA Today, she was most likely the highest-paid TV show host in 2018, and in 2015 she broke a world record for the longest career as a TV show host. There were many achievements given to Judy and the show as the seasons kept going, and audiences around the country and world found much enjoyment in the show. So for many, this sudden announcement is a bit saddening.
Yet, it has a good turn out. The reason “Judge Judy” will be ending after this upcoming season is because a new show will break out, and Judy will once again be the host. She stated that she isn’t retiring; simply put, “if you’re not tired, you’re not supposed to stop,” she stated to USA Today. The new show “Judy Justice” will supposedly be coming out a bit after the last episode of “Judge Judy,” which is set to end by summer 2021. Although a very iconic and entertaining show will soon come to an end, a new beginning will arise, and fans around the world are hyped.
